Rabbi Oren Yehi-Shalom
• Executive Director – “Israeli Education” – the network of Jewish Secular Humanistic schools, following the success of projects in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
• Created a conference celebrating a Decade of Humanistic Jewish Education in kindergartens and elementary schools. Teachers, school principals, delegates from the municipality as well as board members, studied together about the vision for the next decade in secular humanistic education.
• Developed structural and educational changes at the national level, through the empowerment of Parent Associations, educating the media, and creating a lobby for improving education in Israel.
• Has conducted Life Cycle ceremonies (birth, bnei mitzvah, funerals and weddings), since 2007.
• Is an active member of the Merchav – Israeli Secular Rabbis Association Board.
