נשוי לדיאנה, אב לנועם, יונתן ואיתמר, סב לעמוס.
נולדתי ב-1948 בבואנוס-איירס, ארגנטינה, ועליתי ארצה ב-1969. מאז אני גר בירושלים.
היסטוריון יהודי במקצועי, ייסדתי הוצאה לאור ומוציא ספרים בנושאים יהודיים בספרדית. בין היתר ערכתי והוצאתי לאור: אנציקלופדיה יהודית בספרדית, ואנציקלופדיה על השואה בספרדית בשיתוף עם יד-ושם.
פועל בענייני ציבור למען קירוב יהודי ישראל והתפוצות.
פעיל בשתי עמותות ישראליות לחקר יהדות אמריקה הלטינית.

• Vice-President of the International Federation of Secular Humanistic Judaism.
• Active member of the Merchav – Israeli Secular Rabbis Association Board.
