Orit Shitrit
• Education director in “Israeli Education” – the first network of Jewish Secular Humanistic schools in Israel.
• Has been teaching Tanach in a secondary school since 1998.
• Wrote a curriculum on Torah and Tanach for the Ministry of Education.
• Prepared a study program for secondary students in preparation for travel to Poland. The program was implemented over four months with four classes.
• Teaches Parashat Hashavua throughout the year to ten students with special needs.
• Coordinates the Education and Culture division in her moshav (100 families).
• Organizes a study group with ten women on the Life Cycle.
• Kabalat Shabbat during a mission to Poland, organized the Jewish holidays for the entire 11th grade in her school.
